One in six males has experienced childhood sexual abuse, and males make up 40 percent of survivors.

The NSPCC reported that when boys phoned their ChildHelp line in the UK to report sexual abuse, the majority of their perpetrators (where identifiable) were women.

The CDC reported in the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) that, of adults who experienced sexual violence in a 12-month period, 43 percent were men.

The NISVS also reported that men were coerced (not necessarily physically) into sexual intercourse at the same rate as women.
